The Great Silk Road opening the trade opportunities to the caravans traveling from China to Europe used to pass through Georgia. Mtskheta and Uplistsikhe Cave Town were two main points on a Georgian Great Silk Road route.<\/p>\n

And the least pleasant but an interesting story of J. Stalin to be heard in Gori \u2013 his home-town.<\/p>\n

Today you\u2019ll be able to visit Gori and to see the Museum of Stalin combining the photo and private belongings exhibition, original house where he was born and spent his first 4 years and the bullet-proof train carriage he used for travelling.<\/p>\n

Transfer to Uplistsikhe Cave Town and enjoy a cave walk. The town is dug in the sun-stone plateau and is of beautiful golden color. Initially there had been more than 500 caves, but during the existence of 3000 years it has lost much of it.<\/p>\n
