Skiing in Georgia<\/span><\/h2>\n

Because of its mountainous terrain Georgia is a perfect destination for skiing and snow-boarding. It has four skiing resorts: Gudauri, Bakuriani, Mestia and Goderdzi Pass. Resorts are located in different areas of Georgia and offer diverse opportunities. White-water rafting is available on several rivers of Georgia. The most popular is Aragvi River. The rafting season starts from May and the route is II-III category. The route distance is 13-14km, both on Pshavi and Mtiuleti Aragvi Rivers.
