Visa to Georgia<\/h2>\n

There’re number of countries the citizens of which\u00a0do not require visas to enter Georgia. However, the citizens of some other countries still require visas and the regulations vary from one country to another country.<\/p>\n

Tbilisi International Airport<\/h2>\n

Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport (formerly Novo Alexeyevka) is located in 20km from the center of Tbilisi. It\u2019s the largest airport of Georgia. Newly renovated and with all necessary facilities. The airport receives the flights from the major countries of the world. Flights landing here have very good connections with the big hubs like Istanbul and Doha.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text css_animation=”left-to-right”]<\/p>\n

Kutaisi International Airport<\/h2>\n

David the Builder Kutaisi International Airport is located 23km away from Kutaisi in West Georgia. The distance from Tbilisi, the capital, is 254km.<\/p>\n

The airport is comparatively new and serves budget-conscious flights from Europe, Ukraine and Turkey.<\/p>\n

Batumi Airport is located 8km away from Batumi, at the Black Sea coast. The distance from Tbilisi, the capital, is 380km.<\/p>\n

The airport has flight to Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Israel.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text css_animation=”left-to-right”]<\/p>\n

Railway<\/h2>\n

Georgian Railway has two international connections \u2013 Baku, Azerbaijan and Yerevan, Armenia.<\/p>\n

Baku connection to Tbilisi is on daily basis. Yerevan connection depends on the season. On high season the departures are every day and the connection is to Tbilisi and also to Batumi. Sadakhlo \u2013 75km from Tbilisi.<\/p>\n

Guguti \u2013 100km from Tbilisi.<\/p>\n

Ninotsminda \u2013 180km from Tbilisi.<\/p>\n

Crossing Sadakhlo and Guguti is relatively easy as no man\u2019s land isn\u2019t long. Ninotsminda border has a longer no man\u2019s land almost up to 2km.<\/p>\n

Red Bridge \u2013 62km from Tbilisi.<\/p>\n

Lagodekhi border lies on touristic route, while dry bridge is mostly used for business travelers.<\/p>\n

Kartsakhi \u2013 230km from Tbilisi.<\/p>\n

Sarpi border is open 24 hours, but Vale and Kartsakhi aren\u2019t on the Turkish side. So, please check the opening hours with your Turkish agent when you decide to travel.<\/p>\n

Georgia has one officially operating open border with Russia. It’s located north of the capital at the end of Georgian Military Highway, close to Kazbegi settlement.<\/p>\n

It’s open 24 hours on Georgian side.<\/p>\n
