Upon arrival we visit Ukimerioni mount with UNESCO listed Bagrati Cathedral with the great views over the town. Continue to a natural grotto full of stalactites and stalagmites. In the late afternoon we visit\u00a0splendid Gelati academy and monastery (12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0c) and UNESCO World Heritage Site.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 2: Kutaisi\/Nokalakevi<b>\/Martvili Canyon<\/b>\/<b>Okatse Canyon\/<\/b>Kutaisi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today we learn more about the Kingdom of Colchis and its history. We visit archeological site of Nokalakevi that is an ongoing excavation and home to numerous ancient artifacts unearthed here. Later we take a boat trip in Martvili Canyon to see this beautiful wonder of nature. In the afternoon we will take a walk along a pleasant forest to a bridge-way of Okatse Canyon and enjoy the views of winding forest at our feet. Return to Kutaisi.<\/p>\n<p><b>Day 3: Kutaisi\/Uplistsikhe\/Mtskheta\/Tbilisi<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Depart to visit the ancient cave town of Uplistsikhe. That\u2019s a place where Great Silk Road used to pass.<\/p>\n<p>Continue to\u00a0Mtskheta to visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Svetitskhoveli cathedral (11<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0c) and Jvari monastery on top of a hill (6<sup>th<\/sup>-7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0cc).
