Venture out in the old winding streets to explore this exotic city and later indulge yourself to sit in\u00a0a small cozy caf\u00e9\u00a0to enjoy the picturesque views over the old town. The tour will take you from the century old churches to the amazing panoramic views and famous bath district which attracted lots of people during the centuries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 3: Tbilisi \/David Gareji\/Tbilisi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today we drive to David Gareji cave monastery (6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0c). On arrival you will be amazed by the picturesque landscapes and monastery itself. Centuries ago the monks carved out the caves\u00a0that make its visitors still &#8220;wow&#8221; today. Visit Lavra monastery and afterwards start walking up to Udabno to enjoy wonderful frescoes and views overlooking Azerbaijan valley.<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards we drive to the romantic city of Sighnaghi. In the evening arrive back in Tbilisi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 4: Tbilisi\/Mtskheta\/Kutaisi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After breakfast we depart for Mtskheta to visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Svetitskhoveli cathedral (11<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0c) and Jvari monastery on top of a hill (6<sup>th<\/sup>-7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0cc). Continue our way to west Georgia, Land of the Golden Fleece and visit the city of Kutaisi whose antiquity is more than 3000 years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 5: Kutaisi\/Borjomi\/Bakuriani<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the morning we drive to visit splendid Gelati academy and monastery (12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0c) and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The complex is outstanding indeed and captures\u00a0the attention of the\u00a0visitors from the very first sight. Afterwards we enjoy some free time in the food market of Kutaisi. Only a few markets are surviving until today and we recommend taking a chance to see Georgian spices, fruit, vegetables and sweets. Continue our way to Borjomi spa town and taste the famous mineral water &#8220;Borjomi&#8221; &#8211; country&#8217;s number one export. Chance to take a cable car overlooking the beautiful gorge .In the late afternoon drive up to Bakuriani for 2 nights stay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 6: Bakuriani\/Vardzia\/Bakuriani<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today visit one of the highlights of Georgia &#8211; Vardzia cave town (12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0c). On the way to Vardzia, photo stop at Khertvisi fortress.<\/p>\n<p>The town still amazes its visitors with its grandeur, beauty and mystical atmosphere. Wondering in this cave town will truly take you back to the 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0c when Georgia was flourishing. Here you will see church beautiful for its frescoes, dwelling quarters, wine cellars and granaries, pharmacy and even the library.<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards return back to Bakuriani.<\/p>\n<p>If time permits we will also visit Rabat\u00a0hill top\u00a0castle\u00a0in Akhaltsikhe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 7: Bakuriani\/Gori\/Gudauri<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another beautiful and picturesque day awaits us today. Start driving to Gori, better known as Stalin\u2019s birth place and continue to the ancient cave town of Uplistsikhe. That\u2019s a place where great Silk Road used to pass. Afterwards we continue driving up to Georgian Military Highway and en route enjoy the fascinating views. On the way to Gudauri we stop at Ananuri architectural complex overlooking Jinvali reservoir. Arrive in Gudauri.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 8: Gudauri\/Kazbegi\/Tbilisi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today we drive to Kazbegi and enjoy the stunning\u00a0mountains all the way. Upon arrival in Kazbegi we start walking up to Gergeti Trinity church (14th c). Hiking up to the mountain is of moderate difficulty but it is all worthwhile. The beauty all along the way and up to the church will make you forget about tiredness. If the weather permits, you may even see one of the highest peaks in the Caucasus \u2013Mt.
