Kazbegi Mountain (or <em>Mkinvartsveri \u2013 the ice-peak<\/em>) &#8211; the third highest mountain in Georgia is related to the Greek myth about Prometheus. Our first stop will be at fortified church of Ananuri and Jinvali artificial lake. Continue over the Cross Pass and reach its highest point 2395m.\u00a0 Descending down we&#8217;ll reach\u00a0iron-red travertines with streaming mineral waters.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival in Kazbegi we visit one of the most beautifully set churches of Georgia &#8211;\u00a0Gergeti Trinity church, which is located on the top of the mountain at 2170m above sea level. Enjoy the thrilling views from there.<\/p>\n<p>Overnight in Kazbegi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 2: Kazbegi\/Juta\/Mt. Chaukhebi\/Kazbegi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Drive to Sno valley and village Juta. The way along and the village itself extremely beautiful. Here you have a chance to visit the local family to enjoy a cup of coffee and taste delicious local honey and sour yogurt &#8211; Matsoni. Our day continues towards the lee of Mt. Chaukhebi. The walk is relatively easy and features a strenuous uphill only in the beginning of the walk. Enjoy some free time to relax at the moraine in front of Mt. Chaukhebi and walk back to Juta to take a ride back to Kazbegi.<\/p>\n<p>Overnight in Kazbegi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 3: Kazbegi\/Gveleti Waterfalls\/Mtskheta\/Tbilisi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Morning starts with the walk to Dariali Gorge connecting Georgia to Russia with the only operating Larsi Border at the moment. We&#8217;ll stop on a halfway and continue our way towards the waterfalls of Gveleti.
