There’re number of countries the citizens of which do not require visas to enter Georgia. However, the citizens of some other countries still require visas and the regulations vary from one country to another country.

Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport (formerly Novo Alexeyevka) is located in 20km from the center of Tbilisi. It’s the largest airport of Georgia. Newly renovated and with all necessary facilities. The airport receives the flights from the major countries of the world. Flights landing here have very good connections with the big hubs like Istanbul and Doha.
David the Builder Kutaisi International Airport is located 23km away from Kutaisi in West Georgia. The distance from Tbilisi, the capital, is 254km.
The airport is comparatively new and serves budget-conscious flights from Europe, Ukraine and Turkey.
Batumi Airport is located 8km away from Batumi, at the Black Sea coast. The distance from Tbilisi, the capital, is 380km.
The airport has flight to Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Israel.
Georgian Railway has two international connections – Baku, Azerbaijan and Yerevan, Armenia.
Baku connection to Tbilisi is on daily basis. Yerevan connection depends on the season. On high season the departures are every day and the connection is to Tbilisi and also to Batumi. On shoulder seasons departures to Yerevan are every next day and only from Tbilisi.
Georgia has three official borders with Armenia. Open 24 hours.
Sadakhlo – 75km from Tbilisi.
Guguti – 100km from Tbilisi.
Ninotsminda – 180km from Tbilisi.
Crossing Sadakhlo and Guguti is relatively easy as no man’s land isn’t long. Ninotsminda border has a longer no man’s land almost up to 2km.

Lagodekhi – 160km from Tbilisi.
Red Bridge – 62km from Tbilisi.
Lagodekhi border lies on touristic route, while Red Bridge is mostly used for business travelers.

Sarpi – 39km from Tbilisi, at the Black Sea.
Vale – 220km from Tbilisi.
Kartsakhi – 230km from Tbilisi.
Sarpi border is open 24 hours, but Vale and Kartsakhi aren’t on the Turkish side. So, please check the opening hours with your Turkish agent when you decide to travel.

Georgia has one officially operating open border with Russia. It’s located north of the capital at the end of Georgian Military Highway, close to Kazbegi settlement.
Lars – 170km from Tbilisi.
It’s open 24 hours on Georgian side.
